Subject:An Error Occured Saving the File!

Has anybody run into this on SF 6.0? I can save the file, but only if I rename it. Any suggestions wil be greatly appreciated.

Where did the file come from? I've run into this a few times while editing files i had restored from CD backups. When Windows copies files from a CD to hard drive, it sets them to read-only. This prevents any programs from re-saving these files until you remove the read-only attribute.

I had not thought of that. I will look at the properties of the files and see if they are set to Read Only. Thanks!

Make sure you have the latest update for 6.0 installed (6.0e).
