In the "Optimize DVD" window, if you highlight each video clip in the DVD, there is a pull-down menu for frame rate, I leave it set for "Automatic," or "From Project," can't remember which it says.

Never had a problem burning 24p video to DVD...

At the present time, DVDA can accept valid 24p MPEG source files and will not recompress them if the source and project settings match up. DVDA itself cannot currently encode anything to 24p (menus, movies).

If the "source and project settings must match", how do you change the project settings to anything other than NTSC or PAL interlaced?

You leave the DVD Architect project set to NTSC; 24p MPEG-2 for DVD is NTSC. If you haven't seen it, please read the 24p whitepaper.
