I'm a long time user of the software. I've recorded in style 2.0, music 3.0, and Pro 3.0. This evening I upgraded to Pro 4.0 and got the latest version, d. This is my first 'test' recording:

My guitar is playing back slow, why? I mean it sounds like I can't keep time, but that's not true. What do I need to do to fix this? I have made 100's of recordings in the past on the other versions fine. At this point, I'm too chicken to bring in an older file to see what happens, but I guess I could do that if I need to.

I'm running 98se, tons of RAM, recording on a Delta 66 playing back on a cheap onboard. Help!! Please!

If by slow, you mean delayed by 1/2 second or more, then I would also like to report the same problem. Since the upgrade to d, all recent recordings have shifted out of sync. Changing drivers has not helped.
PC is 1.7G, 512 ram, WinXP. Acid Pro4d.
Sound card is Audigy 1

I have tried disabling the Beatmapper, disabling the autolatency select, everything I can think of and none of it works. It says the recorded file is the same bpm as the project, but there's no way that can be true.

A check back through older topics suggest that this problem is widespread. No official answer yet. just suggestions to disable auto latency adjust. This is definitely a bug with d. One user said he reverted back to b and the problem went away. Could be the best solution if you don't use Rewire.

But I tried disabling auto latency and that didn't work either. The other thing is, I don't have version b. I just got the program last night, the latest version, d. This is certainly some kind of bug that appears to have popped up in version 'c'. I hope the SoFo gang get on a fix to this asap. Do they know it's a problem? I searched this forum for threads on this, but I didn't find any.

I am fairly certain that if you contact tech support they can supply you with a link where you may download 4.0b regardless of when you purchased ACID 4.0

I emailed tech support this morning. I'll share any relevant news here when I get a response. Thanks!
