Subject:Way to Split Track/Bus output?

Acids archetecture allows flexible combining of signals, but seems to lack any way to split signals. Is there any way to say send track 1's signal to 2 or more busses simultaneously? Basically I want the tracks signal to be processed two different ways and mixed with different other tracks before being being combined at the master.
Basically I want to send low band pass to one buss and a high band pass to another.
I have tried using send effects but this seems limited to one send per track.

The only way I have been able to do this is to make 2 duplicates of track one and just use the low pass from one to one buss, a mid pass to another track, and a high pass to a third buss. This way I can process the bands differently. I wonder though if this is not a very efficient utilization of the cpu. Is there a better way?

Your solution sounds like one of the best ways. You could also apply the effects for each track at the track level rather than sending them to a bus. (You'll only be able to control the automation of the effect, if possible.)

If worried about CPU utilization, consider bouncing the track down with effects applied. ACID will then only have to playback the track without having to apply the effects on the fly.

You can have as many as 56 sends in ACID. 24 sub buses (A-Z) and 32 assignable FX buses.

To route a track to multiple destinations,

set up two Sub buses A and B
Use the multi-purpose fader on the ACID track.
Select the First sub bus and adjust the gain. Also set the pre/post fader setting
Select the Secnd sub bus and adjust the gain. Also set the pre/post fader setting

Thanks a bunch, SonicPCH, it worked like a charm!

Now I have so many more options. Very useful!

Any more multi-purpose fader secrets?

Not so much a multi-purpose fader secret, but you can also automate the send amounts on the track using envelopes on the track.
