Subject:file not found: please help!

I've been working on a song off and on for about 6 months. Two days ago, I booted up my computer, launched Acid 3.0 and clicked on the file I've been working on. I was met with an error message that says: "File Not Found," and it would not open. However, the file can still be clearly seen where I normally have it saved. Can anyone help me with this? This is an important track to me and I would really really like to save it.

Thanks.

Hi' I don't use 3.0 myself but I have had a similar error whilst opening 4.0 project's and it's usually due to ; A sample/samples used in the project being moved ( if that's the case you can usually direct acid to the appropriate folder)

Do you have the option to "search for missing files"? That may do the trick. Also, 4.0 has a feature where you can load an archived version of your file if it was not saved correctly. Not sure if this feature is available in 3.0.

The just happened to me again. No files where moved, but I could not open my projetc.

I had to reboot my pc. and when I opened Acid again, a message said:
"Your last session wasn't completed properly would you like to restore from the last autosaved project?"
Then I had to search for missing files in my project (even though these files were not moved). Then I had to save the project again to the original location.
