AUDIOPHILE2496 AND ACID PRO 3.0 -ACID Product Family

Now i just rely on help from u guys , adn me will be very thankful to u if u could help me out as my work here has coem to a complete standstill. In acid, i tried all the buffer sizes, variosu settings, and so on , but there is lot of crackle in the recording. I had audigy soundblaster before. Everything was fine then....but after i have installed audiophile2496, its beena problem with acid...what should i do to solve this grave problem? For tha tammter this crackle is there in other music softwares too... but as i use acid the maximum , i would need some urgent help from u . thanks a lot. ameya - bombay india.
