http://www.videoguys.com/sonicfoundry.html#sf .This is one reputable online retailer however, it is for SoundForge6.0 + NR2.0 for $299.00 buy it from SOFO and you will pay $630.00 for it. I have already a SoundForge6.0 so I won't buy it. I'm still trying to remember where I can find that CDArch5+NR2 combo.

There's a bundle available from Safe Harbor for $199.95:

SonicJane:

Do you also offer those bundles at the same prices? I think it's your marketing people's big mistake not to....IMHO

Sonic Foundry does not compete with its dealers and distributors. For that reason, you can frequently find pricing much lower from dealers than you can direct. If you call and ask us about pricing, we always tell you that it pays to shop around. Buying direct has its benefits (purchase history is on file, easy to get support, etc.) but if you are looking for low prices, shop around. You'll be surprised at what you find.

Yes, Sonic JD is right. If SF (and other companies producing software/hardware) undercut or competed with it's distributors and dealers, it would very quickly not have any distributors or dealers.

We are very lucky to get our introductory offers (if you are registered for SF product news, registered apps) and really shouldn't rock he boat least we loose these ! If you can buy it cheaper elsewhere, go for it !

I'm not arguing that logic of losing distributors if manufacturers undercut prices but I was just surprise at some SF special offers. For example, I was offered CD Architect at a discounted price of $199.95 claiming that the full price was $279.95. Now, how can that be because I know SF online stores sell it for $279.95?

Hey, don't complain about the special SoFo offers. They got me as a regular customer a few years ago when I got Acid Pro for $100. After this I've taken advantage of almost every offer and purchased Sound Forge/Vegas/CD Architect at reduced prices.
Keep'em coming...

all I was saying is some of SF offers are misleading. They maybe offering you something at a reduced priced but it is really cheaper at some of the online vendor. Hey, Nyguard by complaining here, that's what I've learned.....BTW, I don't believe I was the only one who received that Cd Architect offer....
