Hi - Is it possible to download the available free monthly loops if the A/V editor is not on the Internet? I use Acid at home, but have hi-speed internet access at work for downloading. The A/V machine at home does not have an internet connection. AND are the monthly downloads just repackaged versions of the free 8 packs? Thanks in advance. |

You can actually install ACID on another computer as long as you are the sole user of the software. You could install ACID on a computer with Internet access and download and burn the Get Media content onto CD-R/CD-RW from there. "No" to the second question. Get Media content is unique. It is not available elsewhere on any collection or 8Pack. Once it's gone, it's gone. For example, there were a total of eighteen Get Media downloads associated with the Bill Laswell Collection. The Get Media content was not available via the actual Bill Laswell Collection CD set. It just happened to be content that didn't make it to the collection. HTH, Iacobus |
