Batch Converter Running slower on faster computer -Sound Forge - PC

Subject:Batch Converter Running slower on faster computer Posted by: teratogen Date:6/8/2003 8:48:59 PM I'm converting mp3 mono to wav stereo sing Batch Converter. I wanted know why it takes 20 sec longer to do the conversion on my newer, faster computer. The old pc was a pentium 3 866 133mhz bus. The new computer is a Pentium 4 2.4c 800 Mhz bus. Both had 512 megs of ram. The batch is 2 mp3 files of about 21 megs each. Is the program set to run at a specific speed. The cpu runs at 100 % during the conversion on both computers. I'm puzzled. Anyone know why this is happening? Thanks
