Does anyone know of a way to add the effects from Sound Forge to the Plug-In Chooser in Acid 4?

Unless I'm not understanding your query. Something seems amiss, when you first open Acid it searches for all your plugins and any that are in Sound Forge should automatically be available. Check the Sonic Foundry folder. If you're having problems with plugins get this utility...

If you're using SF Studio, the effects shouldn't show in Acid, if I'm not mistaken. They are 'light' versions of other SoFo plug ins & will only run in SF Studio, I think...

Correct. SF Studio does not recognize DX effects, only it's own.
