greetings: should I want a robot to sing a song, or should I want to put an effect on my voice to make it sound like cher in 'belive', could I do it using soudforge or acid? if so: how: if not: how can I do it? |

You could do it, but you'd need to purchase an addtional plug-in or soft synth of some sort. For example, Reason now comes with a vocoder; you could route that to ACID Pro 4.0. There's also the plug-ins available from Antares. There's also the option of using external hardware, such as the products also at Antares' Web site. DigiTech makes some effects products specifically for the vocalist as well. HTH, Iacobus |
