Subject:PROBLEM: Can't Install Update

I just installed Acid 4.0a last night for the first time.

Today I saw that 4.0d was on the updates page so I downloaded it.

Unfortunately, when I try to run the update setup, it tells me it can't write the the C:\Windows\Temp folder and to check that I have write access.

I ran the Disk CLeanup as suggested in the only knowledge base article I found that seems to have any relevance but still no joy.

Can anyone suggest what to try next ?

Try running the full install for 4.0d. Sometimes the update patches can act wierd. The full installer should load in right over any previous version of 4.0. click yes to all for overwriting files.
