Forgive me for my lameness, but could someone please help explain, if it doesn't take to much explaining, how i can do this: To make a long story short i want to do the same basic edit that was done to songs like "In A Gadda Da Vida" by am radio. I want to know how to do an "am" radio edit to get rid of stuff in middle of song (like a long guitar or drum solo, etc.) and cut to the end. All the tutorials i have read don't seem to explain clearly, they meander into pure technical info. How can i make a good clean cut like the studio guys do (uh, well... sort of close, you know?). It doesn't have to be perfect, but close will suffice. I know there must be way of cutting, matching, and merging ---by timings in split seconds--- the music together, fooling the listener.
