Subject:Panning Doesn't Seem to Work Right

The panning envelope in 4d seems to work almost like the volume control. When I move it up (right) The sound gets louder and down (left) it gets softer. The meter shows the sound being panned but there is no way to tell through my speakers. Am I doing something wrong? or do I just have to wing it and hope it's right? |

Are you sure you don't have both speakers connected to the right channel? |

Sometimes when I am trying to pan a track, a reverb plugin or something will add signal to both L & R channels, and this keeps the track signal from moving from side to side. Using any plugins? Fresnog |
