Just wondering if anybody else uses this little trick, or know of any good ones. The main trick i use, is when your song or recording is all mixed and finished. I take the entire left channel and copy it, then mute the left channel. Then you move ahead one sample and paste the channel back. This gives a really nice sterio effect, makes the music feel like it sucks your head inside the speaker or sumthen, i think its really effective. |

I'm pleased for you. Personally, I can live without feeling that my head is being sucked into my speakers .... g. |

You can also experiment a little more with this concept by selecting one channel and playing with Simple Delay. There's even a "Shift selection forward" preset to start from. J. |

The effect you're hearing is called "phase cancellation"......most of us try to avoid it, but Yes it's used for effects quite a bit. If it works then use it, but this isn't anything new. This same type of trick is used on MONO track recordings to give them a pseudo stereo effect. |
