Okay, you are making me regret this, by degrees every day now. Finally comfortable midi support but cockled up audio. I'd say the schedule would be now - considering I'm seeing more of the same reports popping up daily now. i've already rolled back to 4.0b but considering all things. I would say a fix would be a priority for an update that breaks a considerable amount of BASELINE function for some of us. I'm used to apple doing this sort of thing. I was hoping I would not see the same from foundry. Just my two cents and pardon the frustrated tone, but it is what it is - frustrated. |

I thought I read somewhere that for the audigy soundcards you should use "Direct sound surround mapper". Try that and see what shakes loose. I get an error that states "The playback device M-Audio Delta 1010 Multichannel does not exist" when using windows classic wave drivers.I've tried a bunch of workarounds but all soon broke. Latency isn't as good but it'll keep you moving. During the testing I was really preoccupied with checking asio. I was the most worried over the vsti's+rewire. Never caught this one. My system using asio with 4.0d is fine. Hope yours will be soon too. Again sorry. Ed. |

Much appreciated for the suggestion, great to see people in the community trying to weather it out together while they figure out what happened |
