Subject:!! (FOR DEVELOPER) Feature Request

Hey,

my colleague uses Cool Edit and he told me abot a few nice things it does. I want SF to do the same cuz I don't plan to use anything but Sonic Foundry product!
1. So called "Dynamic EQ" - an awesome thing to make smooth sound with changing frequency. Like, you know, you tell the program you want to start from this EQ setting and end with another one, and then it processes the selection.
2. Don't remeber the fucntion's title, but there was a "Vocoder" word. The meaning: you take two different sound files (i.e. loops) and tell the program (plugin) to mix them. And it does, but there's no sound mixing, it's like, sound behavior mixing. For example, you take the long flat keyboard chord and mix it with a drum loop. The result would be the same keyboard chord, but with peaks (from drums), and that peaks sound a bit different, like they're in another frequency. Sounds awesome...

Please don't be angry at me if you still think my english sucks, it's not my language :)

The morphing of effects (as supported by some of the native Cool Edit effects) is something that I have longed for since I started doing sound editing years ago. Now the automation features in Vegas do most of what I want, but I don't want it in Vegas, I want it in Sound Forge.

The other thing you describe can be accomplished with any of the numerous vocoder plug-ins, even if doing it in true stereo is sort of a hassle.

If you are listening SF, we need automation/morphing in Sound Forge.
