Subject:loops

when i bring a loop that i made in fruityloops,or sound forge acid adds in extra time and throws off the loop. i set the tempo to the original tempo and have done everything i can think of.??? also i have the latest version and cant seem to edit a sound // cut or paste // should i have this option?

Are you making sure ACIDization is occuring when you save in either Fruityloops or Sound Forge? In Sound Forge, you must make sure that the "save metadata with file" option is checked, or ACIDized properties will not get saved along with the file.

You should be able to edit externally using something like Sound Forge from within ACID (if that's what you're asking?).

What format are you saving your loops in? .wav or .mp3 etc.

Good point, vanblah.

Forgot to mention that if you save in the MP3 format, there's always a bit of silence at the beginning and end. There's nothing that you can do about it; it's inherent to the format.
