Corrupted list boxes etc.

Hi
I have a sudden problem with Vegas Video dialog boxes, data (list boxes) are corrupted (contain weird values). See some screen shots here:
http://more.mine.nu/vegas/

Any ideas? I did send the problem to SF support, they didn't answer yet. I thought here might be someone who has seen this before.

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall, but no luck.

Thanks, MoreK

Looks like one of your system fonts has gotten corrupted. Probably nothing to do with Vegas. Have you installed any fonts or software recently that loaded new fonts?

Thank you for answering.

I doubt this is system font corrupt (though I'm not sure). In Acid I have similar dialog windows, and they are all perfectly well.

I have tried to search my entire disks and Windows registry to find out where those entries are defined (like render screen sized, fps etc.), but I can't find anything.

Any tips appreciated,
Thanks, More

I had this problem in Vegas 3. It was because of different comma delimiters in different countries. When I changed my national settings in the Control panel to USA, everything was fine. I haven't seen this problem in Vegas 4 though.

Thank you so much! I simply changed decimal symbol from comma "," to point "." in Regional and language options, and that was it. No more corrupted list boxes.

Thanks again,

What were your regional settings before you changed them? (i.e., the defaults for where?)

What version of Vegas (version and build number are in the splash screen and about box)?

Thanks.

Actually, I can tell from the fourth screenshot that you are using Vegas 3. Unfortunately, there was a bug with international separators that didn't get fixed until Vegas 4. I hadn't realized it affected the dialog boxes that way. I'm glad that you've found a work-around.
