Subject:24bit on classic wave driver with audigy 2?

I was working with 4.0b at 24 bit 44khz using the classic wave driver and now it'll play the first time, but when I stop and then play again an error comes up saying the audigy ff0 thing doesn't exist. I ended up finding that the audigy asio driver will work at 16 bit 48 khz (this is the only rate it works at), but I'd like to have the option to work at the 24, 44 like I used to do. Please help?
