Subject:Non-functioning Acid 4b to c patch

After downloading the b to c patch, i tried to run. the program collects info. about my computer, prepares to start the installer, then declines to do anything else after the screen flickers. I'm running win 2k pro. with plenty of ram and disk space. any ideas?

Did you install 4.0b from the full installer?
