hello to all i'm new here and i'm italian, so scuse me for bad english i dont succeed to encode correctly a file leaving from wav audio files for single channel. i have loaded an audio file for every single channel and i have muted the speaker except that one of the corresponding channel the result e' that I feel from all the speakers. why? in audio device type i can only select "windows classics wave mapper" and under appair my audio device(sound blaster live 8400) but i can't change it. thanks to all answer me antonio |

You need to get a 5.1 surround card in order to hear all 5.1 discreet channels live, while your mixing and previewing. The Soundblaster Live 5.1 card works great for that purpose. I am using a Mad Dog Multimedia 5.1 accelerator card for this, and it, too, works fairly well. Oh, and there are great help files on the AcidPro 4.0 software. Use them. |

I think you need to use blank wave files for the other channels. If you don't do that your file will be heard in all channels |
