Subject:Acid 4.0c fails to load

I cannot get past the splash screen for some reason in 4.0c. I get no error messages or anything, it just crashes to desktop.

The only thing I can think of is I am running win 2k3 enterprise and acid doesn't want to play nice with it. Any one else have this problem?

Are you using an ATI Radeon with 2.2 Catalyst drivers?

No I am using some generic Nvidia drivers that came with windows. I also checked for Terminal Services and thats started too.
