Does anyone have a straight-forward method of backing up either/both Vegas 4.0/DVD-A projects? Also, when dealing with at least 2 projects at the same time, should I make a different folder for DVD-A to create the video and audio TS subfolders? Thirdly, I got really bummed out when I downloaded/bought DVD-Xcopy to make disc to disc DVD copies and afterward found out it has a laundry-list of incompatible software (i.e. Roxio EzCDcreator, DLA based Verbatim RecordNowDX, RealAudio), so using that to do disc/disc copies of MY OWN projects is now out of the question. Any suggestions (hey, maybe some freeware? these things are getting expensive!)? Anyone? Thanks in advance! Mr. arlondobeyondo |

For part 3 of your question, I use Nero to make DVD to DVD copies of my projects. RecordNow should also do the same thing. I heard that Roxio doesn't support DVD media. |

Thanks for the advice. The later version of Roxio does disc to disc copy of CDs and DVDs. Once I installed a very much larger harddrive, my issues went away and everything worked. Amazing what larger and faster harddrive will do (considering I've already maxed everything else- processor, memory, etc. for speed). Again, thanks. Even Roxio Platinum 5.0+ is doing just great! |
