Subject:creating cd's

After I extract audio from cd drive, then edit, then put blank cd in drive to burn it w/aforementioned doctored audio, I click "create cd", all of this using Sound Forge 5.0, and nothing happens. I can't get program to burn the cd. I get window saying " The drive could not determine correct power for writing this disc" What am I to do?

Try a different brand disc ?

What is the drive make/model ?
