Seems like everyone is very excited about being able to use Acid with Reason once we get Rewire. Some earlier posts claimed that people would switch from Reason-Sonar to Reason-Acid because of the user-friendly factor. Out of curiosity, is there anyone out there who uses Reason-Live that would switch to Reason-Acid once Rewire is available? |

Hi Sponge, I was using Live and Reason for a short period and then I left Live alone because I found it less intuitive and user friendly for my needs in comparison to what I will be able to accomplish once Acid comes out with Rewire. Let's just hope the Rewire feature is better implemented in Acid than the way Synapse got it set up in Orion Platinum. That's the major reason (no pun intended) why I kicked Orion Plat to the curb. i really believe that if your on a p.c. it is hard for any looping program to compete with acid.and once we have rewire the live user will come back home. |

I'm using Live with Reason for a few months now and I'm very happy with it. I mainly switched from ACID PRO 4, because I have a lot of tracks that are not constant beat accurate and I hate using the beatmapper for this. Beatmapper is not working or very time consuming. In Live it's like a dream come true. Then I start using Reason with Live and now my "live is complete" ;-). If the beatmapper is going to work the same as Live and ReWire support, then maybe I'll switch back to ACID pro 4.0. Another thing is that I can use Live and Reason as ReWire in Logic Platinum 5.5 and can use Logic for many nice features... Regards, Diederick. |
