Subject:MONITERING??? ACID PRO 4.0 Posted by: DAS19 Date:5/16/2003 10:29:58 PM I just got the Audigy 2 Platinum with the gutiar/mic inputs. So when I put the guitar in its sounds perfect when I record with ACID PRO 4.0. Ok I have my audio device as my AUDIGY 2 and my record device as LINE 1 (MY MIC/GUITAR INPUT) but when i press record I dont here myself plaing anymore throw my speakers the monitering spots any reason why or ideas??? PLEASE HELP! I spent all this money I dont wnat it to be messed up.

It all really depends on the soundcard's capability to monitor while recording. Be sure that "line 1" has its slider turned all the way up for recording and is not muted. (By default, usually such an input is.) Noose: I'm not sure about the Extigy, but some USB audio interfaces will let you record but not monitor while playing back. This really doesn't have to do with the hardware itself but with the limitations of USB 1.1. HTH, Iacobus
