Does anyone know why when we change keys in a song it doesn't sound good? It sound fake or something.

It depends on the material and how far it's being stretched to fit its new key (or tempo). Vocals, for example, don't sound as natural as, say, bass guitar when stretched to another key.

ACID can't work magic on everything, but it can come close. You can also try Sound Forge's (or other digital audio editor's) excellent pitch shifting tools.
