First of all, I'd like to introduce myself. I am new to this forum. I have just bought acid 3.0 and I am VERY new to it. I have recorded tracks to my br-8 and now have transfered them to acid 3.0. My Question is, how do I get them in synch with each other? Some tracks start at different times then others. For instance, the drums are suppose to start before the guitar. The guitar is suppose to come in later, but the two tracks start at the same time. When I put them into the window, they do not start when I want them to. I realize this is a pretty novice question, but I am a fast learner and any information will be apprieciated! Thanks! |

Click either the Draw Tool or the Selection Tool and select an event (which is an instance of the music actually playing back) and drag it to a desired location on the timeline. For example, if the drums start at measure 1, beat 1 on the timeline, drag the guitar track's event to the right so that it starts at, say, measure 5, beat 1. There's a lot more to it as well, such as slipping and slip-trimming an event. If you have ACID Pro 3.0, it includes the Chopper tool, which allows you to select only a portion of an entire event and insert it onto the timeline as you see fit. HTH, Iacobus |
