When I DJ mix into SFS 6.0 I have to set the levels out of my mixer so low (otherwise clipping occurs) that I cannot monitor through the speakers. The CDs come out ok but it is hard to get into the mix without being able hear scratches and other DJ tricks. Any help would be appreciated. Do I just ignore the clipping and master it later before burning?? Compaq Evo N610c Technics SL1200 MK2 Geminin UMX-5 mixer Denono PMA-255UK amplifier Tannoy speakers Thanks in advance. |

Never ignore clipping! There are two different input volume level controls for your sound card; one for monitoring the input and another one for recording. You probably have the recording level set high and the monitoring level set low. In the volume control panel for your sound card click Options / Properties. This lets you switch to adjusting the record level. |

Yip, make sure your levels are ok on your P.C. click on start, accessories, entertainment, and then voulume control. I take it you have plugged the o/p of your mixer in to the line in connection and not mic on your sound card!! Tony. |
