Hi guys,
I've been using Sound Forge for sample editing and I have had a problem that maybe some of you guys can help me with. When I convert samples from one format to another using Awave Studio, then map those samples into another keyboard, the new keyboard doesn't play the loop. Also, the original tuning is lost and the root key isn't recognized (defaults to C4). How can I load these samples into my new keyboard with all of this data preserved. The weird thing is that when I open these converted samples in Sound Forge, all of this data is recognized including the loop points and the root key, but when I put it in the new keyboard, it doesn't read the loop. Can Sound Forge help? Thanks in advance for any replies.

Anthony

Did you save the wave with the "include metadata" box checked? Sounds like your native file in sound forge is fine.
