Subject:Cursor getting lost off-window

Something has happened to my preferences (or whatever). It used to be that, as a file played, the cursor would move to the right, but then as it approached the right-hand edge of the window, the waveform itself would begin to move under it and the cursor would eventually drift back to the center of the window and stay there, automatically. Now the cursor moves past the border of the window and to follow it I have to drag the horizontal slider. How can I get back to the setup I was familiar with? I didn't knowingly change anything. |

Which version of SF are you running? On SF-6 hit the " |\ " key (keyboard right, under backspace) it will center. Otherwise try adjusting: Options/Preferences/Wave/Interopate play position for inacurate devices |

Someone or something has changed your scrolling options (probably by hitting F6 accidentally). Check under Options and make sure that "Scroll Playback" and "Scroll Smoothly" are both ticked to restore the behaviour to how you like it. |
