Subject:Problem recording!!????

Every time I record a track, the previous track gets overlaped with the new one. Can anyone let me know how I can fix this problem?

Place the cursor where you want the recording to begin before using the Record command, or use the Position option within the Record dialog itself.

i think he means its pinging the tracks together. my friend had the same problem. he was using the motherboards on-board sound. we disabled it and installed a $30 sb live value and no more pinging. the noise floor dropped way down too. i think it had to do with crappy duplexing methods. the sb fixed it though.
