Multiple Errors During Installation -ACID Product Family

Subject:Multiple Errors During Installation Posted by: FKHUL Date:5/18/2003 12:56:32 PM I recently installed Sound Forge and found that after I downloaded it Acid 4.0 was no longer working, when I played anything an unexpected error would occur and it would close down. So I then removed Sound Forge, but the problem with Acid 4.0 didn't go away. I then removed ACID 4.0 and reinstalled it, and when I was installing a number of things wouldn't register. Here's what it said: Error 1904. Module C:\Program Files\Sonic Foundry\Shared Plug-Ins\File Formats\MCMPEG\mcspmpeg.ax failed to register. HRESULT -2147221164. Error 1904. Module C:\Program Files\Sonic Foundry\Shared Plug-Ins\File Formats\MCMPEG\mcesmpeg.ax failed to register. HRESULT -2147221164. Error 1904. Module C:\Program Files\Sonic Foundry\Shared Plug-Ins\File Formats\MCMPEG\mcdsmpeg.ax failed to register. HRESULT -2147221164. Error 1904. Module C:\Program Files\Sonic Foundry\Shared Plug-Ins\Audio\MCMPEG\sfppack1.dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147221164. Error 1904. Module C:\Program Files\Sonic Foundry\Shared Plug-Ins\Audio\MCMPEG\sfppack2.dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147221164. Error 1904. Module C:\Program Files\Sonic Foundry\Shared Plug-Ins\Audio\MCMPEG\sfppack3.dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147221164. Error 1904. Module C:\Program Files\Sonic Foundry\Shared Plug-Ins\Audio\MCMPEG\sftrkfx1.dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147221164. Also, my MUSICMATCHJUKEBOX, Windows Media Player, and Winamp no longer work. I am SO frustrated, I have no IDEA what could have happened, this has essentially ruined my computer. Is there ANY way to fix all of these problems? Any help would be appreciated. THANX, Jeremy
