Subject:auto markers set to beat ??

Is there any way to have Acid or any other SF app create makers based on the
beat of the song as found in the BeatMaper ??

Not that I know of. Any reason why you would think this would be beneficial? (I'm thinking it would be easier to beatmatch the rest of a project with such a track...)

You're only allowed a total of 10 numerically tagged markers on the timeline, BTW. (1 through 0) Anything above that will have a marker but no number assigned to it. (Use CTRL+left or right arrow to access previous/next markers after that.)

I want to set markers to the down beat of each measure, save the file and import into
vegas, then process a number of still shots into a slideshow with transitions on the beat. Just looking for a tool to automate this process. I thought (and still think) Acid might be the right tool to get that portion of the job done, rather than doing it by hand.
