Hello All, I think I am having the same trouble that another guy was having over here. But If someone could help me out here. I am trying to play my keyboard in Acid 4.0 as a wav and record it but the other parts of my track are recording also. How do I record what I am playing on the keyboard with hearing the beat but not recording the beat. Anybody help me out??? |

Yeah, that "other guy" was me!! I don't know exactly what you mean when you say that your other tracks are recording. Do you mean that they are playing while your recording? Have you tried muting the tracks that you do not want to play? antonio ps now that i think about it, i may have misunderstood your question. i thought you meant that you had several acid tracks playing at once and only wanted some of those to play while you record. Why don't you just use the beat that is playing as a "guide track" and record your audio performance from your keyboard? Afterwards, you could just delete that beat track and keep your recorded audio performance. |

I will try that out. What I was trying to say was that I want the beat/other tracks to play so I can record the audio/keyboard onbeat but I do not want the beat/other tracks to be recorded in there also. Its picking that up also. Hope you can understand that? Tough to explain in text..lol |

So, you're telling me that when you try to record Audio from the keyboard, everything is dumped onto one single track??!! That's weird!! Is the beat that you're playing along to an Acid beat or a beat from your keyboard? |

I know what your trying to do because thats how i do it!! while i play the tracks in acid i record along with my Synth with Goldwave. it only records what i have on my sound in. In windows under your Volume menu (Botom right of your desktop, the speaker icon) click OPTIONS then PROPERTIES then RECORDING then click OK now your volume panel will now have recording options, select LINE-IN now you can record like you want to/. |
