Can the Roland 307 hook up to Acid 4.0 and be recognized? Do you know which grooveboxes can't be recognized? I do appreciate your help, i'm looking into getting a groovebox but I didn't want to waste money if I couldn't hook it up.

What do you mean by "recognized"?

What ACID sees is external MIDI ports. You Roland is connected to one of these. ACID will send and can also recieve MIDI data from the 307. It would then be up to you to send the correct MIDI data to the Roland.
