Subject:acid pro 4 freezes!

recently, when i play one of my techno mixes, acid randomly pauses and starts repeating a random ~100 millisecond part of the song... when i press Stop, the program freezes and i have to end task

this occurs every single time i play a song now... very weird stuff

im using Acid Pro 4.0 on windows 2000, all updated sound card drivers, directx 9

the problem seems to be a single track... the track repeats a one-beat WAV file but the program stalls even when that track is not active (there are no events in the time period)

also, this occurs about 6 or 7 seconds after i start playing
