Subject:Strangeness after XP Pro upgrade

Sorry if this has been answered, but I couldn't find it in the archives... After upgrading my Acid box (dual intel 1g processor, lots of memory, Echo Mia card, etc) to the XP Pro OS I have been experiencing problems every time I try to right click anything in Acid (and similarly in Sonar, as well, so I'm not calling it a SF issue). The signal plays back at double speed (at least), and the only way to reset is to close the application (acid, sonar, etc) and restart--quite inconvenient at best, debilitating at worst. Plus the noise level is intense...static, etc, that was never present before. Anyone have a clue as to what this is? Surely I'm not the only one with these issues (or am I?) I've upgraded the Mia drivers, but that wasn't it. Thanks in advance!! |

Did you install XP over another operating system, or to a fresh disk? |

Gotta agree with SonicJG. Never "upgrade" your OS. It's a prime reason for problems after said "upgrade" is applied. Always try and install your OS to a clean hard disk. Cuzin B |
