Wheel Mouse Horizontal Scrolling Question -Sound Forge - PC

Since upgrading, my center mouse wheel no longer automatically scolls audio left/right in Sound Forge 4.5. I've searched the forums a bit (checked the Registry for Mouse exceptions, etc...) but no luck :( I've also discovered that Sound Forge 4.5 never "officially" supported horizontal scrolling with the mouse wheel but alas, it always seemed to work anyway. I know that Sound Forge 6.0 supports horizontal scrolling by holding down the shift key while scrolling but this extra step is rather inconvenient (I'm a creature of habit :) So here's my question: 1) Is there any way to configure Sound Forge 4.5 to "unofficially" support mouse scrolling in Windows XP? I've got a Logitech IntelliMouse. 2) Is there any way to change the configuration of Sound Forge 6.0 so that moving the wheel mouse navigates through audio files horizontally by default rather than magnifying?
