When using SF6 to open a track on an audio CD, there are many clippings on the output WAVE file. Understand that it is because that signal level of the track is greater than 0dB. Is there any method to get rid of clipping ? |

If you are getting clipped waveforms, then that is what has been recorded onto the CD. SF Noise Reduction 2 has a tool to reduce the effect of clipping (Clipped Peak Removal), but it's better to insist that your source media is competently recorded in the first place.... geoff |

I am a new comer to use SF6. I have installed NoiseReduction Plug-In 2. But I did not catch how to reduce the clipping effect. May you instruct me more ? Thanks. |

It should be listed under the DX Favorites menu. Look for Clip Restore. You will propably have to add it from the Organize sub-menu. |
