Subject:Lounge Lizard...Strange Problems?

I'm using Acid 4.0b and Lounge Lizard VSTi v1.0 and I'm getting a couple of funky things happening when I try to play it. The first is that some notes will continue to sustain after I've let off of the key. I don't think it's a problem with the MIDI area of the VSTi since the MIDI light doesn't show any activity even while the note is sustaining.

The other problem I'm having is that some notes won't even play. This usually happens when I play many notes in succession. Some will play while others won't. It's like it's too slow to process all of the notes. It's not a problem with the polyphony since I've got that cranked to 12.

If anybody can offer any help, I'd appreciate it :)

Hi SonicSounds
I've been using Lounge Lizard in Acid 4.0 and have not had any problems.
Sorry I know that doesn't help you.

Lounge Lizard is a processor hog on my machine (AMD K6/2 550) and I've found that increasing the polyphony increases processor usage regardless of how many notes are being played. I end up rendering my Lounge Lizard parts to be able to listen to them, instead of using it in real time. Try using the bare minimum polyphony settings and see if you experience problems.

hi

i have the same problem like u do with LL, i think the problem is with the midi -vsti on acid itself cos it still buggy i guess. just like acid dont support dynamo. I've updated it to v.1.01, still no difference. have u updated your lounge lizard to v1.01 unless u have crack which u cant..
