i'm fairly new to using acid pro but i know my way around it pretty well so far so any help is great. okay so i'm compiling a song right, but most of the time when i try to add in a wav sound the sound gets distorted and sounds, well for lack of better words, it sounds like two robots eating each other while drilling a hole in concrete.

does anyone know why this is happening? any possible suggestions as to what i can do?

Is the WAV file ACIDized? (All the libraries from SoFo are ACIDized, and so are some but not all 3rd party loop libraries.) Even then, ACID will try to determine the number of beats but not the root key of a WAV file that is not ACIDized. If you'd like, you can email me a problematic sample and I'll see what I can do.

HTH,
