simultaneous record/playback

It could be that I'm going crazy but it seems like there used to be an item under the preferences menu in VV3 to toggle simultaneous record and playback. I can't find it in V4. I need to disable audio playback while laying down some vo's.

Just mute the recording track.

If you have a setup with many tracks you can group them to separate buses and then mute/solo the buses.

Yeah, thanks for the replies. I know I can do it manually, I'm just missing the option that did it automatically. I don't know why an option like that would be removed. It makes more work in V4 than I had in VV3, at least with the way I had been doing it.
