Subject:loop merging not smooth

I don't know if I'm using the proper term but here's my question...

I have a loop that sounds smooth when played back in the original format. However, after I import and play the music loop in SoundForge I makes a noticable jump or off beat noise (the loop is not smooth) when it returns to the beginning of the loop.

How can I make this loop merge and play smooth as it loop continously?

Any help will be greatly appreciated,

Thank You

iaustin

What format is the original loop in? .wav, .aiff, .mp3?
If it's MP3, see: mp3 loop problem

Isn't SWF Macromedia's Flash format?

In any case, if you're using the full version of Sound Forge (not Sound Forge Studio or Sound Forge Studio XP), open up the Loop Tuner (CTRL+L is the shortcut) and use that tool's features to tweak your loop's endpoints.
