Hello all: I bought the Native Instruments Pro-53 VST synth ( http://www.nativeinstruments.de/index.php?id=pro53_us ), which I can play as a standalone program, using a PS-300 midi keyboard controller. I'd like to be able to press "record" in Sound Forge 5, then start playing, and have Sound Forge record my performance. Is this possible? If so, how? Thanks! it is possible, but it depends on the sound card you've got. if you have for example an SB Live or Audigy you should be able to choose "What U Hear" from the record input dialog in the sound control panel. SF is then able to record whatever comes out of the speakers. |

btw, seeing your link to ACID Planet, i assume you have ACID? because it's possible to open the Pro 53 VSTi directly in ACID 4 and use it in conjunction with your loops, or other VSTi's. just FYI. :) |
