Just curious... Faster is usually better with regards to computing, so would a Xeon processor based workstation offer significant advantages as a Digital Audio Workstation? Or... Is it just unnecessary and costly overkill

I just built a dual 2.4GHz Xeon system. It was CHEAPER than building a 3 GHz P4 system.
