Hey, I'm new to Acid and I have a question. I'm using Acid 3.0. I when I hook up my guitar and record a track, then play it back... it sounds like it's skipping. Last night it was working fine. I don't know what I could have changed to make it do that. Anyone know? |

I think I'm having the same problem. I paint a vocal loop and on playback it warbles, as if it's going in and out of phase. Nothing changed, and the loop sounds great when I play it alone in Sound Forge. I have a massive amount of RAM and a Pentium 4, so it can't be a computer power glitch. I hope somebody can help. |

Are there any other tracks playing along with your take? Is your system optimized for disk-based track playback? Be sure to turn off anything that would interfere, like antivirus programs, instant messengers and software firewalls. Be sure the soundcard you're using is also not sharing resources (specifically IRQ's) with any other device in your system. HTH, Iacobus |
