Hi, I've been trying to find a DX-plugin compatibility list for various SF products (I have Acid 4, SoundForge 5, VideoFactory 2, BatchConverter 5) just to check whether my recently purchased 'Spektral Delay' (by Native Instruments) will work Ok... I found a compatibility list for Acid4 & VSTi in the knowledgebase, but no DX list :( john.. |

It should work as long as it's a DirectX effect, not a DirectX instrument (or DXi). DXi's are not supported in ACID Pro 4.0. HTH, Iacobus |

Yeah, it's a DX effect (apparently it runs as VST, DX, or standalone - so even if SoFo apps don't like it, I can still use it for offline processing!) Anyway, it arrived in the post this morning - I'll hopefully be able to try it out this evening and report back :) john.. |

it should work but beware the Spektral Delay has very high cpu consumption. |

Hmmm, well... got it, installed it (v1.0) and it works as a standalone app, but not as a DX plugin (not under any SoFo apps that I have anyway). I guess that I'll have to get the update (to 1.5) and see if that helps... Tomorrow :) [as for CPU usage, I hope I'll be alright with a 2.4GHz P4 !) john.. |

Ok, haven't got the update to SpekD yet, but it still doesn't work. Using DXMani (from AnalogX) I can see that it is installed - I can even open up the user-interface; it's just that in Acid etc. it isn't recognised as a DX plugin... Am I missing something??? john.. |

Just a slight update... found that Spektral Delay will work in Vegas Audio 2.0 LE, but not my other SoFo apps... (Acid, Sound Forge, Videofactory, BatchConverter) Curious! john.. |
