I still get these ocasionally. the full message: "An error ocurred while saving one or more files. An error ocurred while reading the file. Make sure you have read access to the file/folder and that it is not corrupted." happens usually on long files - the last one was a 28 min stereo file that I converted to mono. The conversion to mono with some regions saved ok, applying a DirectX eq in a few segments, no longer saves. File still open on Desktop, plays ok. Using "Save AS", renaming the file, saves fine, EXCEPT most of the audio has disappeared. Erasing the sfk file does not fix this, playback agrees with the waveform display, mostly silence with a couple of the original audio segments still in place. the original file opens but the processing after the last Save and before the error message appeared did not keep. Furthermore, the regions, which had been saved apparently ok, no longer show. I've made sure of course that the file is not write protected. I just retraced my steps and did it all again, the problem is fully repeatable. WTF???!!! |

Ugh. Please provide detailed steps so we can try to reproduce this here. In the meantime, where is your temp folder in relation to the file? Also, turning on the "lock files" pref may help. J. |
